Since I was a child I have always had a passion for reptiles. Keeping snakes, frogs, bearded dragons, and many other species. Of all the species out there, tortoises and turtles have become my main focus. I have been keeping them for 25 years now. Located in sunny South Florida, I am able to provide very naturalistic outdoor enclosures for the species I work with. As a result these reptiles thrive. Keeping these animals happy, nature will take its course. 

It all began with one redfoot tortoise that turned into 4. About 18 years ago my Redfoot tortoises began laying eggs. Redfoots are one of my personal favorite species. Shortly after that I began successfully hatching Redfoot tortoises. From there I started working with several other species. And a hobby turned into a business. 

Southern Reptiles is a small business, LLC. I have a class 3 permit for public sale of reptiles. I am also a licensed importer by USFWS. We import captive born tortoises from other farms/breeders around the world. I care for all the turtles and tortoises myself. With the help of my wife and family. I also do all the packing, shipping, email requests, etc.   

My business plan is simple. Provide the highest quality turtles and tortoises at the best prices around. If an animal is not 100%, we simply don’t sell it. This makes things less stressful for you, the animal, and myself.
